What changed
Updated August 20, 2026
Everything that changed, newest first. Small fixes get a line here too — if we only ever posted the good news you would have no reason to check this page when something breaks.
New
There is now a page that says whether uploads, sorting and sign-in are working, and a line across the top of the app when any of them are not. You should not have to guess whether it is us or your connection.
New
Every public buck card now carries a report link, so a card that should not be public can be taken down without having to track anybody down first.
Fixed
Two fields on the sign-in screen shared a name, so tapping one label scrolled you to a box four hundred pixels away. Both labels now go where they say.
New
You can now use a Google account instead of a password. Accounts that already have a password are untouched and keep working the same way.
Fixed
Uploading a full card used to stop the moment you tapped through to another screen. It now runs to the end wherever you go, and if any frames fail it tells you which ones and at what stage.
Better
Camera limits went up across the board, and the plans now step on how many cameras you run rather than on what the app will do for you — every paid plan sorts the same way.
Better
Sighting history now lines up with conditions taken from a fine grid over each camera instead of the nearest reporting station, which can be an hour's drive away and on the other side of the weather.
New
Find your ground, mark where each camera hangs, and open that camera's photos without leaving the map. Where your cameras sit stays inside your account — no location, ever, on a share card or a public page.
Older changes are not listed. This page starts where the app became something you could actually open and use.
